Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Samskruthi, provided by Harish Baroori, handles information in its mobile app, home-screen widgets and website.

Information used on your device

Panchangam and Kundali calculations run locally. The app uses your selected city, coordinates, timezone and date for these calculations. If you choose device location and grant permission, the app requests your location to set these values. Background location tracking is not used. You can choose a city manually instead.

Language, theme, location preferences and introduction progress are stored locally. Birth date, time and place entered for Kundali are processed locally; choosing Save on device stores those details on that device. This information is not uploaded to a Samskruthi server.

Home-screen widgets

When available in your installed version, the widget stores seven days of calculated readings, the selected location name and timezone, language and theme in local storage shared with the app. It does not send those readings to us. Open the app to refresh this cache.

Notifications

Optional daily Panchangam and festival reminders are scheduled locally after you grant notification permission. Reminder preferences and up to 14 days of notification content are stored on your device. They may include your selected location and readings, which can appear on your lock screen. No push-notification server or messaging service receives these details. Open the app to refresh the schedule; turn reminders off and save in Settings to cancel pending reminders, or manage permission and lock-screen previews in device settings.

Sharing

When you choose Share, the app creates an image locally and opens your device's sharing controls. The image may show the selected location, date and readings. Review it before sharing. The apps and recipients you select receive that content under their own privacy practices. Samskruthi does not automatically upload it to us. Temporary sharing files may remain in the app cache until replaced or removed.

No accounts, advertising or tracking SDKs

The current mobile app does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking. Native plugins provide device functionality such as location, file storage and the share sheet; their inclusion does not send your calculation inputs to us.

Website and external services

The native app bundles its core content for local use. The website and public support and privacy pages are hosted through Cloudflare. Visiting web pages sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested URL, to the hosting service to deliver and protect those pages. Hosting logs and retention depend on the provider and service configuration. This is separate from on-device calculations in the native app.

Opening external reference links connects you to those sites, which follow their own privacy policies. Your operating system may also process information to provide location, sharing, speech or backup services according to its settings and policies. Samskruthi does not control those services.

Contacting support

If you email mantranidhi.baroori@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Gmail processes this correspondence. We use it to respond, troubleshoot and handle your request, not for advertising. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive birth details. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle requests and related records or legal obligations. You may ask us to delete it, subject to those obligations and provider backup retention.

Your choices and deletion

• Revoke location permission in device settings or select a city manually.
• Use Kundali's Delete saved details control to remove the saved birth-input record.
• For the website, clear its site data to remove stored preferences and cached content.
• For native app data, use the operating system's app-data deletion controls. Removing a widget alone may leave its shared cache. System backups can retain copies according to your backup settings.
• Content you have exported or shared must be deleted separately from its destination.

We cannot retrieve or delete your locally stored calculation inputs remotely because we do not receive them.

Children

Samskruthi is a general-audience cultural reference app. It does not provide accounts, public posting or in-app messaging. If you believe a child sent us personal information through support, contact us to request its removal.

Security and changes

Local information relies on your device's storage protections. Keep your device secure and review what you share. No storage or transmission method is absolutely secure. We may update this policy when features or data practices change and will update the effective date on this page.
